It’s helpful enough, I’ll give it that, but you really have to use it carefully. The information can be good, but just cite your sources and double-check things before relying on it. Not trying to be difficult, but that part matters.

Their support team took forever to get back to me, and it was really frustrating. I was left waiting around with no clear update, and that’s completely on them.

I used Bartleby for a few months, and the billing side of things was straightforward. Every month, the charge was the amount I was expecting, so there weren’t any surprise fees, random add-ons, or weird extra charges that made me have to double-check everything. I tend to notice that kind of stuff because I don’t like when subscriptions are unclear, but this was simple. Even when I canceled, it didn’t cause any billing issues or confusing follow-up charges. It just worked the way I thought it would, which I really appreciated.

I’ve been using Bartleby for math, bio, and accounting, and it’s been really convenient having all of that in one spot. I’m sure they know students like me are usually jumping between totally different classes and just need quick help when homework starts making no sense. Either way, it’s been nice not having to search all over the place...

It wasn’t impossible, but there were a few confusing steps that made me feel like I was being dragged through it for no reason. I kept thinking, why does something this simple have to waste my time? Frustrating experience overall.

I signed up for Bartleby and then quickly realized, yeah, I probably wasn’t going to use it enough to make it worth it. So I asked for a refund not long after signing up, thinking it would be a simple thing, but... not really.

Support did get back to me, to be fair, but I felt like I had to repeat myself a couple times and explain the situation more than necessary. I did eventually get the refund, so that part was fine, but it took more time and effort than it should have. Not a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating.

I tried using Bartleby for homework help, and while the idea is nice, the site itself felt cluttered. Some pages took their sweet time loading, because apparently my homework wasn’t already testing my patience enough.

Using it on my phone was even more fun, in the most sarcastic sense possible. Buttons were awkward to tap, pop-ups kept showing up like they had urgent business, and I had to click around way too much just to find what I needed.

The answers can actually be helpful once you finally get to them, so I’ll give it that. But the website definitely needs some work, especially on mobile. It’s not unusable, but smooth? Not exactly.

I’ve used Bartleby a handful of times for math and chemistry homework, mostly on the nights where I’m staring at the question and genuinely have no idea what the first step is supposed to be. I’m not really using it to just grab an answer and move on, because that doesn’t help much when the next problem is basically the same thing with different numbers.
Most of the answers I found were actually helpful because they showed the work in enough detail for me to follow along and understand why something was happening. Like, if there were multiple steps in a math problem, it usually didn’t jump straight from the setup to the final answer, which I appreciated. That said, a couple explanations were a little too short or vague, so I still had to look up another example or double-check the reasoning somewhere else.

Overall, it definitely saved me time and made homework feel less stressful, especially when I was stuck at the very beginning and just needed someone to point me in the right direction. It’s not perfect, and I wouldn’t say every single explanation is amazing, but it’s been better than sitting there guessing or getting frustrated on my own. I’d give it 4 stars.

My first impression of the Bartleby app wasn’t great. It felt slow right away, and a couple pages took forever to load. As someone who gets impatient digging through menus, I was impressed. I typed in what I needed and found it really fast without any hassle

bartleby did help me with homework a few times, so I won’t say it was useless. But for what I actually got out of it, the monthly price felt way too high. I barely used it enough to make the cost worth it, and canceling was more confusing than it should’ve been. Companies need to be more upfront about pricing and make it simple to stop a subscription when someone doesn’t want it anymore. Overall, it’s not a terrible service, but I really think they need to take accountability for how expensive and unclear the experience can feel.

It’s decent overall since some of the books do have answers, but a few of the chapters I actually needed were missing. Kind of frustrating because I ended up having to search around and do extra work anyway.
